Anastasiia Sholokhova

She has a journalism education and until she was 20, she didn’t even think about linking her future with performing.

She started her circus career in the Kiev Water Circus as a dancer. She fell in love with aerial dancing and started learning it.

She wants to represent the culture of her country where it does not yet exist, show her heritage and destroy the myth of the “great Soviet circus”.

She loves reading and always travels with a suitcase full of books. She can fix almost everything in her house and is very proud of it.

Last year’s finalists – Duo Twins – persuaded her to participate in the Cyrkulacje.
