Kadri is an aerial artist from Estonia. She loves expressing herself through abstract languages such as aerial dance or visual arts. She mainly works as a soloist and most often gets her inspiration from music, the lyrics or different states of mind.
As a child she wanted to become a detective, as she imagined it to be a profession where she could work undercover, therefore change characters and looks and have the element of danger and thrill in her work. Luckily, as a circus artist, all of those components exist in her current profession.
After being mesmerized by seeing an aerial performance at a young age for the first time in her life, her circus journey started at the Estonian youth circus. One of her first disciplines was the hula hoop.
In her opinion, Cyrkulacje Festival is a great opportunity to showcase her own artistic voice. She often works on projects where she helps to bring alive other peoples’ visions. Therefore, it’s refreshing to create and to be able to showcase something rather personal.
