«Spektrum” is a performance that creates a unique artistic universe, where elements of contemporary circus meet the language of physical theatre. It is the result of creative exploration, aimed at innovative and fresh applications of techniques such as juggling, acrobatics and pantomime. The audience is transported into a grotesque world where optical illusions bring new shapes and creatures to life, while the artists craft an unrepeatable stage expression.
Four performers conjure before the audience an image full of illusions, impossible to look away from. Using the full spectrum of circus and theatrical skills, they reach for juggling and impressive passing routines – balls, rings and clubs fly through the air – while exploring a wide range of possibilities beyond conventional patterns. They experiment. They challenge one another, playfully compete, snatch and add props, raising the level of difficulty of tricks and sequences. They constantly invent new games, whose rules quickly become clear to the audience. All of this is served with the right dose of playfulness and professionalism. The artists connect with the public, wink at them, involve them in stage situations. And just when everything seems clear, they surprise once again with unexpected solutions. The audience is drawn into a kaleidoscope of worlds within this grotesque universe.
The show is maintained in a minimalist yet dynamic and humorous form. It explores the relationship between human and object, engages in a dialogue with the laws of physics, and seeks harmony between movement and matter. Thanks to the diversity of techniques and the thoughtful play of gestures and hidden meanings, the performance delivers a universal message that resonates with both younger and older audiences.
